Today I am thankful for hunting. I have to say, it was pretty gross having a deer hang in my garage for a few days, but the outcome is great. We had a venison steak for dinner last night and it was delicious. This morning Ephraim is busy grinding meat and making sausage. It is comforting to know that my freezer will have some meat in it for the winter.
